Do you want an invitation?
This last week in America has me at a loss for much to say and frightened for the future.
I guess at least there's art. Art continues to be my anchor, my safe place, in a world that rarely makes sense or is kind.
Roadtrip Show prep is in high gear and is still on schedule for August.
I am sending out paper invitations for this online show. Yes, paper invites physically sent in the mail with a handful of paper goodies inside. If you'd like to receive an invite, reply to this email with your name and mailing address and I'll be sure you get one.
Some of the progress and prep work going on over here:
I eat chips with chopsticks while working on a piece.
A few things worth sharing
FOOD: While feeling despondent this weekend, I made just the caramel from this recipe, poured it in a bowl and ate it with a spoon.
QUOTE: Words from Leonor Fini:
"I always imagined that I would have a life very different than the one imagined for me, but I understood from a very early age that I would have to revolt in order to make that life."
Hey, thanks!
